Conservation Center For Cultural Properties

The Conservation Center for Cultural Properties was established in 1980 to serve as a regulated environment and efficient workspace for conservation, restoration, replication and reproduction of non-architectural cultural properties by private conservation studios.
The Center has been active in the acquisition of resources and conducts survey studies related to the conservation of cultural properties. In addition, roundtable discussions and periodic observations are organized to provide interaction among the conservators, Center researchers, and the Kyoto National Museum curators.
