Her Majesty The Empress and the Sericulture of the Koishimaru Silkworm: Celebrating Ten Years in the Reproduction of Shoso-in Textiles With the cooperation Her Majesty the Empress, the Imperial Household Agency's Office of the Shosoin Treasure House has successfully reproduced Nara-period (710-793) textiles from the Shosoin Treasure House. This year marks the tenth year in this project. See the amazing reproductions alongside the Shosoin textiles from the collection of the Kyoto National Museum.
