The Decorative Arts of the Art Collection Room Kunstkammer

 
The decorative arts collection rooms, known as Kunst und Wunderkammer (art and curiosities collection room), which the emperors cherished, boasted an extremely wide-range, encyclopedic assemblage of objects made of materials collected from around the world. Surprisingly, several of the works correspond to Japanese decorative works from the same period.
