| The decorative arts collection rooms, known as Kunst und Wunderkammer (art and curiosities collection room), which the emperors cherished, boasted an extremely wide-range, encyclopedic assemblage of objects made of materials collected from around the world. Surprisingly, several of the works correspond to Japanese decorative works from the same period. |
