News

As scheduled, the Kyoto National Museum's galleries are closed for reinstallation September 11–28.
The gardens and outdoor exhibits are also closed during this time due to damage from Typhoon Jebi (Typhoon 21).
The South Gate Museum Shop, Museum Café, and Information will be open as follows:

HOURS (SEPTEMBER 11–27; CLOSED on 18, 25): Museum Shop (Benrido): 9:30–17:00; Museum Café (Maeda Coffee): 9:15–17:00; South Gate Information: 9:30–17:00
