Jūnihitoe: Dressing of Formal Attire for Court Ladies

The Kyoto National Museum is proud to present a live dressing show of a formal court attire for aristocratic ladies to celebrate the Special Exhibition "The Thirty-Six Immortal Poets: Elegant Arts of Classical Japanese Court." Layers of bright, rich and exquisite colors will be arranged by skilled dressers. The sound of rustling robes will bring you back to be world of the Heian period (794-1185).

Starting 10:00 a.m. on November 9, tickets will be distributed to the visitors at the Grand Lobby on the first floor of Heisei Chishinkan Wing. One ticket per person. First-come, first served.
