The Lacquerware gallery is currently being used to display Paintings.
This exhibition features archaeological artifacts from ancient times, Buddhist metalwork objects, medieval handscrolls, and paintings by idiosyncratic Edo period (1615-1886) artists. Although modest in scale, we hope you will enjoy immersing yourself for a while in the history and beauty of these works of art.
The Gallery is closed from June 9 to 12, 2020.
