Extended Evening Hours on Fridays
Kyoto National Museum extends its hours until 8:00 p.m. every Friday. The museum gardens are also illuminated. Please come and enjoy a special Friday night at the museum.

Museum Hours:
Fridays until 8:00 p.m. (Entrance until 7:30 p.m.)
*Opening hours vary depending on the season.
Museum Hours and Admission
Museum shop, museum café, audio guide, etc:
- Museum Shop Benrido and Café Maeda Coffee are open until 8:00 p.m.
- The rental time for audio guides is extended to 7:30 p.m. (30 minutes before closing)
*During the period when only the museum gardens are open, audio guides will not be available for rental.
