KNM Garden Guide

Explore the Museum Gardens with Your Smartphone!

The KNM Garden Guide is a free app allowing visitors to explore the museum gardens using their own smartphones and tablets. Simply point your camera at the outdoor exhibits and buildings to view explanations and enjoy interactive AR (Augmented Reality) content.

Available Hours: 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
*Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire museum and museum grounds. Accessibility
*This application does not function properly on computers.

How to Use the KNM Garden Guide

1. Open the KNM Garden Guide app

2. Allow camera access

This app requires camera access. Please grant permission for the app to use your device's camera.

3. Choose a spot displayed on the map

4. Go to the spot and point your camera at the exhibit

Tap [Open Camera]

5. View explanations and AR content

Supported Operating Systems

To smoothly use the KNM Garden Guide, we recommend the following operating systems:

  • iPhone/iPad: iOS 15 or later
  • Android: Android 10 or later

Notes

  • Please refrain from using your smartphone while walking.

    Using a device while walking can disturb other visitors and lead to injuries.

  • This app uses data.

    We recommend using the museum's free Wi-Fi.

  • The museum does not provide a rental service for smartphones, earphones, or other devices.

    Please use your own smartphone and earphones.
