Extended Evening Hours: Fridays and Saturdays, October 8 – December 4, 2022

         

The Kyoto National Museum will have extended evening hours every Friday and Saturday during the Special Exhibition Chanoyu: Tea in the Cultural Life of Kyoto (October 8-December 4, 2022). The museum gardens will also be illuminated during this time.
Enjoy a relaxing autumn evening at the museum.

  • Evening hours are subject to change. Updated information will be posted on this website and on the museum's official Twitter feed, so please check online for the latest information.
               
                      Extended Evening Hours                
             

Days with Extended Evening Hours:
Fridays and Saturdays, October 8-December 4, 2022

             

Museum Hours:
9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (Entrance until 7:30 p.m.)

             

Additional Information:

  • The rental time for audio guides will be extended to 7:30 p.m. (30 minutes before closing)
  • Museum Shop Benrido and Café Maeda Coffee will be open until 8:00 p.m.
  • Admission fees are the same as regular days      Special Exhibition Admission
