Extended Evening Hours: Fridays and Saturdays, July 30 - September 11, 2022

         

The Kyoto National Museum will have extended evening hours every Friday and Saturday during the Special Exhibition Kanshin-ji and Kongō-ji, Two Temples of Kawachinagano: Esoteric Buddhist Art and the Legacy of the Southern Court (July 30-September 11, 2022). The museum gardens will also be illuminated during this time.
Enjoy an evening at the museum and a break from the heat of summer.

  • Evening hours are subject to change. Updated information will be posted on this website and on the museum's official Twitter feed, so please check online for the latest information.

Days with Extended Evening Hours:
Fridays and Saturdays, July 30-September 11, 2022

             

Museum Hours:
9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (Entrance until 7:30 p.m.)

             

Additional Information:

  • The rental time for audio guides will be extended to 7:30 p.m. (30 minutes before closing)
  • Museum Shop Benrido (Heisei Chishinkan Wing shop) and Café Maeda Coffee will be open until 8:00 p.m.
  • Admission fees are the same as regular days      Special Exhibition Admission
